Employee Assistance Programme
Please note: This information relates to policies quoted after 28 September 2015.
Our focus is to help your employees stay healthy and support them when they’re not. That’s why when you choose our Group Income Protection policy you also get access to an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) provided by Care first.
The EAP is a confidential advice and information service, staffed by qualified counsellors. Through it your employees will have access to clinical and professional expertise which gives them the chance to talk about all kinds of work and personal issues, which may include stress, family concerns, relationships, illness, debt, retirement and personal crises.
Anything that is on their mind could be affecting their productivity in the workplace, so addressing issues as early as possible helps to reduce absenteeism and presenteeism in your business and improve overall staff wellbeing.
Support that suits your business
The EAP is available to all your employees, even if they’re not covered by the Group Income Protection policy and it provides:
- Professional advice from qualified and experienced counsellors
- Up to eight face-to-face counselling sessions per employee per year
- Online support through a dedicated site offering advice and guidance on a wide range of topics
This EAP service is a non-contractual benefit facilitated by Aviva and it can be withdrawn by Aviva at any time without notice. The EAP service is provided by Care first.
