Surprised that the customer service was poor

The claim was regarding damage on the front of my vehicle caused when a vehicle reversed into me and the other party took responsibility straight away. Despite this however I was treated as though the accident was caused by me. I had to ask the other party insurer to arrange a hire car...instead of Aviva organising it and then recharging it to the other party. Disappointing having had insurance with Aviva for many years now. My vehicle was repaired quickly but again we had to pay the excess and then reclaim it directly from the other party's insurance. Aviva didn't really have anything to do with my claim.

Aviva better than most...

All easy to deal with. genuinely caring Couldn't ask for more. Service Garage didn't turn up when they said they would, But they did a decent repair job. Injury claim ongoing. Hope it doesn't take too long? Happy I'm with Aviva

Very good with the way aviva sorted my claim. One phone call to them, got me a courtesy car and mine taken away and repaired. Very fast
