Auto Windscreens

Auto Windscreens, Aviva’s preferred motor glass supplier, went into administration with effect from 16:30 on 14th Feb 2011.

This means that with immediate effect all existing repairs will now be managed by Auto Glass.

We recognise that some of you will be affected by this change. To ensure you know who to contact we’ve created a “resolution guide” below for you to follow with details on how to deal.

Resolution Guide

  • Poor Workmanship Rectification – Should you contact Aviva then the job should be passed to Auto Glass on 01234 279 885* to rectify the situation. If you are currently seeking compensation or a complaint response then please call our Aviva Stretford office on 0800 587 5791*.
  • AW unfulfilled appointments – Should you contact Aviva as the result of a missed/unfulfilled appointment then please call Auto Glass on 01234 279 885*.
  • Excesses – You will be asked to pay an excess by Auto Glass. However, if you’ve already paid an excess to Auto Windscreens then no further excesses will be payable.
  • Outstanding Auto Windscreen Complaints – Should you contact Aviva for a response to an outstanding complaint the call should be directed to our Aviva Stretford office on 0800 587 5791*.
