Kevin Sale - Director of Commercial Finance
Kevin’s career with Aviva (formerly Norwich Union) began in 1970. Having held various positions across the fields of Investment Management and Commercial Lending, he has headed up the Commercial Finance department as Director since 1998.

Chris joined the team in October 2005. He has 16 years experience as an equity fund manager/analyst, covering a variety of sectors and fund types, across both UK and European equity markets. Before this he was with the Royal Dutch/Shell Group for 13 years in a variety of roles including project management/mergers and acquisitions, internal audit and corporate planning. Subsequently he was with Fisons Plc for 4 years as a senior financial auditor and latterly as Group analyst with capital expenditure and mergers and acquisitions responsibilities.

Jayne’s Aviva career began in 1980. She spent 3 years in the accounts team for the Aviva (formerly Norwich Union) Investment Division, and then 3 years within Residential Mortgages. Jayne joined the Commercial Property Finance team in 1986, and is now an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Paul graduated in Economics & Politics from Exeter University in 1993. He began his career with Bibby Financial Services Invoice Discounting Division, spending time in sales and as a senior client manager.

After graduating in 2002, with a 2.1 in Economics from the University of East Anglia, Neil joined the Commercial Property Finance team as an Account Manager. Neil’s taste for lending came from part time university work at a local residential mortgage provider.

David has worked as Senior Portfolio Surveyor for the Aviva Commercial Finance team since 1992 providing a range of property advice to the team and is also a member of the Lending Credit Committee. David joined Aviva, previously known as Norwich Union, in 1989 working on the direct property investment side of the business. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He started his career with the Valuation Office and has also worked in the private sector (Savills and Countrywide Surveyors) and in industry (Boulton & Paul plc).

Julian joined Aviva’s Property Investment team in 1986 where he had a number of roles in commercial property management, development and investment. In 2000, at the time of the NU/CGU merger, he moved to Morley where he was Fund Manager firstly of an internal property fund and then of a fund specialising in retail warehouse investment. Julian joined the Aviva Commercial Finance team as a Portfolio Surveyor in March 2006.

Steve’s career at Aviva has spanned over 16 years in a variety of roles within Actuarial and Marketing teams. Before joining the Commercial Property Finance team in October 2005 he managed a team of specialist marketers involved in positioning Aviva Life and Pension products on IFA advice systems.

Catherine’s career began at Barclays Bank, after graduating with a combined honours degree from the University of Birmingham. After progressing on to the TSB bank, she became an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers. She has now been with the Commercial Property Finance team since 1990.

Adrian has been within Commercial Finance department for 18 years. He has worked within the Residential and Surgery lending areas, before joining the commercial team as a Recoveries Officer in 1994. In 1997 he became an Account Manager and is now responsible for a large number of portfolios as well as providing IT support to the team, and being involved in a number of projects.

Amy began her Aviva career in 2001, whilst working part time within the life policy call centre. After graduating in Business Management from the University of East Anglia in 2003, she moved full time to the Commercial Finance department. For a short period she worked in administration for the existing business team, before progressing to new business as an Account Manager in April 2004.
