Customer reviews consist of an overall rating out of five and provide feedback on the experience of buying a policy and making a claim with us. MY SILLY ERROR

HAVING BEEN A DRIVER FOR 40 YEARS MY SILLY ACCIDENT WAS COMPLETELY MY FAULT. IT HAPPENED ON A PETROL STATION FORECOURT. MY INSURER WAS BRILLIANT. ONE PHONE CALL COMPLETED THE DETAILS VERY QUICKLY, THE VERY COMPETENT CUSTOMER SERVICES PERSON ARRANGED FOR THE CAR TO BE COLLECTED NEXT DAY. THEY ARRIVED VERY EARLY AFTER A PHONE CALL. THE REPAIR TOOK ABOUT A WEEK. THE CAR WAS DELIVERED BACK ON A PREARRANGED DAY. EXCELLENT SERVICE. THE CAR LOOKED BRAND NEW. MANY THANKS. I HOPE I WONT NEED THE SERVICE AGAIN BUT THANKS AVIVA.

Top Notch!

Can’t complain one bit about the service that I received. Phone was answered quickly when I rang the claim line to tell them that I suspected the damage to car would mean a write off & Peter explained the situation fully and what I should expect and when to expect it. By the time we had finished the hire car company had already left a voicemail to get a temporary vehicle arranged that was collected that evening. The claim was dealt with quickly and I was updated throughout the process. Just received me new vehicle and was expecting a large hike in the policy fee, however a nominal admin fee was levied and I was on my way. Glad I took the decision to insure with Aviva!

Initial Impression - Excellent

Very easy to arrange on line and although I did have to speak to Aviva, staff were efficient and courteous compared to my previous insurer who I will not use again Time will tell if my first impressions last, but I feel fairly confident at this stage.

Overall very good service. Would recommend

AVIVA were quick to begin dealing with our request. The car was not initially recovered at the time of the accident but the car then needed collecting from our home address after i realised one of the indicator lights was no longer working, as a result of the accident. AVIVA were quick to arrange collection however the repair hire car company (Enterprise) were unable to provide a delivered replacement car that day (which is the point of a courtesy car) so we had to make our own way to the rental place. The service by Enterprise was however exceptional. Our car took 2 weeks to repair and we had been told we only had the hire car (due to our policy wording) for 2 weeks. We wanted Solus to return the car to our home address and Enterprise collect the hire car as it was the last day of the 2 week allowance. However Solus were too busy to deliver so we had to collect our car The repair was excellent but just a pain collecting cars which is meant to be part of the service.

I'm sorry to see we were unable to arrange for the delivery of the courtesy car and collection of your car. I have raised this with our claims team and asked them to investigate and feedback to both the garage and Enterprise.

I thought the renewal premium from existing insurer was excessive. Having a few shares with Aviva I thought it time to ask them for a quote. They answered the phone promptly. Within a short period of time I had all the information I needed to instigate a new policy and making a significant saving. I'm happy but not sure why I did not do it earlier !!

Accident in my van

I found that Aviva handled my claim very efficiently and quickly. All staff were always helpful and kept me up todate. The total experience took 2 weeks from the time of the accident and me having to purchase another van. The payout was also very quick. I would highly recommend Aviva

Great experience!

We have recently renewed a number of policies including Home&Building, Motor and Travel insurance and although we shopped around always seemed to end up highlighting the Aviva policy options as offering the most competitive price for what appeared to be a pretty comprehensive cover package. However,the one factor that really made a BIG difference was the way we were dealt with by the Aviva team members on the telephone: They were singularly and collectively calm, highly proffessional, understanding and knowledgeable: They presented the Aviva brand in a very positive light... it made the difference for us! As a result we now have all of our policies and a mortgage with Aviva so benefit from multiple product discounts and the use of a very useful MyAviva App which provides details of insurances at your fingertips... we have even used the Aviva Drive App to assess our driving and further discounts, although my wife scored better than me! Great price, great products and GREAT PEOPLE!
