best value for money & customer services

I been on all car insurances comparisons web-sites before I've gone directly to purchase from Aviva. The reason - very competitive price and a great customer service. I can deal with Aviva over the phone 24:7 where as slightly cheaper deals were by e-mail only. Plus I read customer reviews before buying and Aviva is highly recommended +competitive

Efficiently and quickly resolved. Third party admitted responsibility,so I did not lose my no claims bonus,neither did I have to pay my excess.

Easy and saved money

I have been looking for car insurance on comparison websites, however got lower prices but they are not reliable. Avida is not on comparison sites and please go to avida website and get your personalised quotation. Online account management is very easy, no claim discount letter can be emailed. Overall very satisfied with the insurance. Please read the reviews related to claims to see how aviva deals with claims as I found most of the reviews are from customers who purchased insurance only. I do believe aviva as a professional, good company they handle claims very effectively.

Claim review

Hit a deer..

My wife hit a deer which kept from a hedgerow right in front of her whilst driving our AUDI TT. She hit the poor thing head on and a car coming in the opposite direction finished it off.. AVIVA arranged for our car to be collected from our home and a courtesy car provided, it was the most basic of courtesy cars, but it was adequate for the 10 days our car took to repair. The SOLUS team were very at a-tentative and the repair was perfect.

Car insurance Purchase

Purchased Aviva Car Insurance but, unfortunately, after purchasing the car insurance prior to starting this insurance in 2 weeks time, somebody crashed into my car at a Car Park and didn't leave their contact details. Due to the cost of the repair, I was obliged to make a claim on my previous insurance company. After informing my new Insurance company, Aviva, of the claim, I was surprised to hear that my premium would rise - that is, after I had already paid for and agreed my insurance. This is even although I have nine years protected no claims bonus. It was a bit of a disappointment to say the least.

Hi there, I'm sorry to hear your car was hit and the third party didn't leave any details; I appreciate how frustrating it is when the claim isn't your fault, but there is no third party to recover the costs from. Unfortunately there were a change of circumstances prior to your policy starting, so this meant that the policy information we had before was inaccurate and needed re-rating.
