Customer reviews consist of an overall rating out of five and provide feedback on the experience of buying a policy and making a claim with us. Customers also have the option to provide a rating out of five on additional aspects of their experience. After buying a policy, customers are able rate us on value for money, ease of purchase, policy features and benefits and customer experience. After making a claim, customers are invited to rate us on ease of claim process, speed of resolution, fairness and customer experience.

No Problem

Aviva team were helpful and although the repairs were dealt with via 3rd party the aviva claims dept were always available to help out and answer queries.

Great Speedy customer service

I had an accident recently. The claim department dealt with it so quickly and efficiently. I was amazed when my claim was paid out in less than week. No lengthy claim form to fill out, No funny looking drawings and no ringing up and lengthy phone conversations. I was really pleased with it all. I give it ten out of ten.

Quick and local

The reassuring thing about this claim was the speed with which everything was dealt with by a chap could Pete, who quickly revealed he was local - just round the motorway from where the accident happened. In the end I didn't claim and sorted it out for myself with second-hand parts. But it was great to have swift advice and straightforward instructions on what to do.

No courtesy car, claims department only open 9-5

I had a guy crash into me in mid January. Initially he said it was my fault, but a witness stopped and verified he had been at fault. He accepted liability and we all exchanged details. He then texted me and asked to resolve outside of insurers. Due to his earlier attitude I was cautious and went through insurer. The insurers garage was 15 miles from our home,we weren't provided with a courtesy car despite having one on the policy. I couldn't get hold of the claims team as they are only open 9-5 Mon-Fri and I am not able to make phone calls during work. Took over a week to repair minor paint damage, all the time I'm without a car. One month later I take a day off and ring to find it is a disputed claim, my witness has not returned the statement requested and he is now saying I reversed into him! Meantime I have to renew my insurance with a Fault claim and no no claims bonus. I wish I had more time when I could ring to chase things up but I don't. Courtesy car money has been refunded.

A well drilled team

In 40 years i have not experienced such a well run and efficient operation From the first phone call to the final letter of claim completion, over a period of only a couple of weeks only I found the customer services reps were all polite and very helpful,all based in the UK,and surprisingly easy to contact by phone.

Buyer review

good service and cover

Having two cars to insure one of which is owned by a 20 year old getting the right cover at the right price was a mine field. Having done the leg work on the internet I opted to phone the company just to check that everything was correct. The people I spoke to (2) were more than helpful and even managed to get me a slightly better deal by realigning my breakdown cover so that both of us were covered. Possibly not the cheapest quote we got but certainly we feel that we now have the right level of cover
