Customer reviews consist of an overall rating out of five and provide feedback on the experience of buying a policy and making a claim with us. After buying a policy, customers are able rate us on value for money, ease of purchase, policy features and benefits and customer experience. Still waiting...

Someone reversed into me the week before Christmas. Not wanting to disrupt my Christmas holiday, i decided not to have the car repaired over the holiday. The man on the phone from Aviva (who was very polite and well spoken, and seemed to want to help) agreed to call me back to discuss getting the car fixed early in the new year. I'm still waiting for the call, and it's nearly February… Guess i must have slipped through the system… :-(

High quality

One 10 minute phone call. That's it. Details record. Repairs booked. Dropped car off. Collected it 9 days later (delay because of New Year). My first accident, surprised by the ease of dealing with it.

Oh so very poor service

Having bumped my car I was tod I had to use an approved repair company. The only approved repairer within 40 miles has as yet still not provided an estimate despite completing all the forms and telephoning them.. The manufactures approved repairer managed to complete a quote and email it plus putting it on Autodex with in 5 hours. So to get the repairers complete I now have to pay £200 extra because your approved can't be bothered to respond. Very poor service, and telephone staff handling complaint no better.

Car insurance and like for like car

I had to fight for a like for like car, which I thought I had in my insurance. I had to fight my case as they only offered a lower rated car. I had to ask them to go back and listen to the original recording of when I first took on Aviva car insurance. In Fairness to Aviva, after about a couple of weeks of argument, they finally got back to me to tell me that they were still right, but the person who took my money, did say Like For Like and therefore allowed me to get a like for like car. So top marks too them for being honest. I would stay with Aviva, but unfortunately I need an insurance that has a like for like car. Anybody who doesn't have the issues, I have, can feel comfortable in knowing that Aviva are one of the best in the industry. All my marks would have been 10 out of 10, if it wasn't for this issue, which affects me personally.

Very good service

My 63 plated Yeti was damaged when it was parked.The woman who hit it could not get out of her car as it was jammed between my car and a hedge until mine was moved. She did give me all her details. When I contacted Aviva it was very easy to arrange repairs to my car and a hire car was also supplied.I did not lose my no claims bonus or excess as it was her fault. I would recommend Aviva as a very good company I also have buildings and contents insurance and pet insurance with Aviva l

Best Offer I've found

I don't know if that was due to how they deal with over 50 persons like me, or with people with a good record of years without incidents, but is a fact that it was the cheapest offer I was able to find out!
