In addition to aiming to help you make better decisions about your insurance, we use these reviews to improve our products and services.

Customer reviews consist of an overall rating out of five and provide feedback on the experience of buying a policy and making a claim with us. Customers also have the option to provide a rating out of five on additional aspects of their experience. After buying a policy, customers are able rate us on value for money, ease of purchase, policy features and benefits and customer experience. After making a claim, customers are invited to rate us on ease of claim process, speed of resolution, fairness and customer experience.

Claim review

picking up the pieces

I was parked & outside my vehicle when the other party collided with the rear bumper. She persuaded me to get an estimate and she would pay for the repairs, as she had not long passed her driving test. I insisted on getting her insurance details & address anyway, I also took photo's of both vehicles. I was so glad I did as she refused to pay when she received the estimate from the garage. I called aviva and they were great, they got everything sorted out very quickly and I am now awaiting the repair specialist to call when the parts are in. Don't be fooled when other parties offer to go around the insurance... I was lucky, all I lost was a month by dealing with a time waster. Thank goodness for Aviva.

Claim review

Spot on service

Aviva were clear and efficient when dealing with my reported claim, and very reassuring when I needed advice on the best way forward for my claim. Solus were friendly, helpful and communicated well and despite a parts delay, I felt my pride and joy was repaired to the highest standard in a timely fashion! Impressed all round!

easy and quick to arrange

I was unhappy with my existing motor insurance supplier, as in 2013 I got a quote which was significantly lower from Aviva, and my supplier had to match it according to their normal offers. In 2014 when the time came to renew, my existing supplier reverted to their 2013 quote plus an uplift, so much higher. I asked for a reduction, they said no. So I went again to Aviva, got a quote marginally higher than in 2013, and decided to change.

Well done Aviva

The claim experience was very easy with the 24/7 claim line and the extremely helpful staff at aviva. Thet handled everything excellently with great customer service from all the people who I contacted at aviva. Unfortunately the recommended garage to repair my car were hopeless and i would never choose to take my car their ever again. Their customer service was atrocious and they never got back to you when they said they would. I was given 3 different dates to get my car back and those came and went, with no information. When i did eventually get my car back after 3 weeks, they had caused an engine problem which was not there before and only after 2 weeks and the senior engineer from aviva getting involved, did they sort it out. I would however recommend aviva as they were brilliant but i would urge them to look at their approved repairers.
