Customer reviews consist of an overall rating out of five and provide feedback on the experience of buying a policy and making a claim with us. Customers also have the option to provide a rating out of five on additional aspects of their experience. After buying a policy, customers are able rate us on value for money, ease of purchase, policy features and benefits and customer experience. After making a claim, customers are invited to rate us on ease of claim process, speed of resolution, fairness and customer experience.

Super customer service

Aviva made our claim so easy. From organizing the car to be collected and dropped back by the body shop, to the rental car whilst ours was being repaired. We were upset by the incident especially as it was non-fault but were hugely relieved that Aviva took all the stress away from every part of resolving it. Thank you!

Excellent customer service

Didn't realise already having an Aviva product gave you a discount but the customer advisor made sure I got it and he was helpful and friendly. Excellent price and service for me and my family

my experience and maturity with driving didnt matter.

No one from the claims contacted me letting me know they had accepted liability on my behalf. Feel let down that they didn't look into the accident and accepted liability within days. very unhappy with the whole experience. even if Aviva were the cheapest I would not use them again and would not recommend them

Claim review

Very good

It's difficult to desribe an insurance claim as a good experience, but this was really without hassle. It was taken over by the repair company and went without a hitch. I had a previous claim with Aviva about 8 years and it was just as good. It's one of the reasons I've stayed with them. Only worry is that I was told that my 'protected no claims bonus' doesn't stop a prospective increase in the premium when it renews in November. I'll see how I feel about that in a few months!

need for change

The first response by phone was friendly and interested without being intrusive.All my questions were answered well giving me the detailed information wanted. I was left feeling I had made a personal contact with someone whom I could call upon if ever necessary and we had a laugh about the weather!

Made easy.

Someone went into the back of me but Aviva as my insurance company were great. They arranged the repair and for my car to be collected from my place of choice, arranged for a hire car to be dropped off while mine was being repaired and then for each to be returned.

value for money.

Easy to get but, there could be a few things to keep you as a customer. Like not increasing your policy after the first year. My last insurer put my premium up by over one hundred pounds for no reason, just said all premiums are going up. So lets see how Aviva do next year.A good price to get you is ok if they don't hyke it up next year. If you don't have a claim and the risk is still the same then the premium should only go up in line with inflation, not in line with the national debt.
