Customer reviews consist of an overall rating out of five and provide feedback on the experience of buying a policy and making a claim with us. Customers also have the option to provide a rating out of five on additional aspects of their experience. After buying a policy, customers are able rate us on value for money, ease of purchase, policy features and benefits and customer experience. After making a claim, customers are invited to rate us on ease of claim process, speed of resolution, fairness and customer experience.

Claim review

Great claims staff shockingly bad recommended repair contractors

Claims staff great, easy to talk to they call back when they say, they get things done when they say, Asprea management of claim great. This claim was let down by poor workmanship from First Call Trade Service. Bullying contract manager witnessed by Asprea agent. Bathroom stripped out again by next company better work untill shower controller fitting. They broke that twice and damaged bath. Cleaning company great, plastic surgeon brilliant. Shame about contractors as Aviva staff so nice.

Excellent price and service

I have been with another provider for 15 years and tried Aviva for my car insurance . The premium and service were excellent so I used them to insure my home.

Glad I took a closer look...

I hadn't reviewed my home/contents insurance for a number of years. Having retired at the end of April this year I thought I ought to take a closer look. At the heart of insurance is the concept of value: what peace of mind do I get for my money? I decided on the cover I required and then ran that through the usual price comparison web sites. I also tried a few insurers who choose not to use price comparators. Aviva's web site was easy to use - the insurance cover was 'tuneable' and the price change immediately visible. Buying home insurance from Aviva was straightforward and the value was crystal clear.

Competitive and Great Value

I was very pleased with the ease of the purchase of my contents insurance. The quote was better than my current provider who I had been with for many years. My new policy with AVIVIA allowed me to add specific items of value and also a cabin and shed. I live in a rented property so didn't require buildings insurance so I was pleased to be able to add these items and at better value than other providers. Over all I have been very pleased so far and would recommend AVIVIA.

own built pc

i phoned up and started the claim but the woman I spoke to was quite patronising.. especially since I built the computer myself (which I told her of).. saying that I should leave it to the experts.. the experts who Aviva used said they would phone me to confirm things and they didn't.. I had to ring them. the people that they used to build me a pc were spot on.. I couldn't fault them.. was quite annoyed as the cost of the build has not been disclosed to me and I also asked about buying my old pc back but they never got back to me..
