Our Group Income Protection Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) is designed to help employees deal with the stresses and strains of life.

How does an EAP work?

An EAP offers guidance, confidential advice and information to individual employees. Confidentially, they can get the support they're looking for which means they can stay focused during working hours on delivering results for their employer. We provide a large resource of online health orientated knowledge, which can help individuals resolve issues at work or in their personal lives. Through counselling sessions, employees can also seek help to deal with unexpected crises, as well as day-to-day worries in a range of areas involving money, problems in their personal lives, legal issues, relationships, work, family crises and health and illness.

  • Employees can talk to experienced counsellors about any subject that's worrying them.
  • Affiliated to our GIP policy, employees can have six face- to-face counselling sessions free of charge, unlimited telephone counselling sessions and unlimited access to online advice and resources.
  • Employees have 24/7 access to a wide range of personal and work related information online.
  • Management Support to help your managers with expert, impartial advice and guidance on dealing with the many difficult situations they face on a daily basis.
  • Critical Incident Services, available 24/7, that offer telephone advice to managers on the best course of action in the immediate aftermath of a critical incident.
