When we’ve worked out your first Q score, we will give you hints and tips on how to improve your health to increase your Q score.
How to get your Q score
Step 1 — sign up
- Visit MyHealthCounts
- Use the MHC code, we’ll send you this in your welcome pack, and click on 'Get Started'.
- Enter your policy number and date of birth.
Anyone over 18 who is covered on your policy can enter their details, get a Q Score, and earn discounts off their renewal premium.
Step 2 — get your Q Score
Next, you'll need to complete the online health assessment. It only takes about 10 to 15 minutes – you’ll need a tape measure and a set of scales.
For a more accurate Q score, you’ll need to know your cholesterol levels and blood pressure. We can help you find this out with one of our MyHealthCounts pharmacy health checks.
Step 3 — check your progress
When you have completed your Q Score, we will give you hints and tips on how to improve your health to increase your Q score. Remember, the best way to update your Q score is by recording the little steps you take to improve your health. Our 12-week programme will help, making suggestions that could improve your Q score straight away as you keep a record of your progress.
Step 4 — get your discount
Tell us how your health has improved between month 6 and the end of month 9 of your policy year and you’ll qualify for up to 15% off your health insurance renewal.
