Cancer cover for large corporate private medical insurance
With a one in three risk of developing cancer sometime in our life time, there’s no getting away from the fact that cancer is now a challenge many of us may directly or indirectly have to face.
Our cover
With Optimum Private Medical Insurance from Aviva, your clients could benefit from more flexibility and a fair and transparent view of what is covered for cancer treatment.
Cancer treatment developments are leading to many new drugs that target the cancerous cells whilst leaving the healthy ones alone. These "Targeted Therapies" are changing the way cancer is treated. As a result the cost of cancer treatment is increasing, so Aviva can offer your clients a choice of the level of cancer cover for their policy. This means that customers are fully informed of what they are covered for at the point of purchase. This transparent approach not only helps you to provide your clients with clear expectations on what they are covered for, but also enables them to exercise greater control over future claims costs. To make Optimum clearer and fairer, your clients can choose from four levels of Targeted Therapy cover.
