“I strive to build open, honest and lasting relationships with all my clients, offering them the strong, dedicated support they require for the best experience with Aviva.”
I’m Adam, otherwise known as Ads, Adsy, Staff Staffsy amongst others!! I’m 24, from Nottingham, and graduated from Sheffield Uni in Law and Criminology in 2008. I joined Aviva in the same summer. Prior to my current role as international sales consultant, I worked alongside our sales consultants in the National Accounts administration department as the main point of contact for some of our major intermediary partners.
Outside of work I am a huge football fan, a big supporter of Tottenham Hotspur, and play five-a-side in my spare time, as well as badminton, (and pub golf). I also do a bit of charity work from time to time and am a Marie Curie representative in Sheffield as well as doing the odd sponsored run. I am also a qualified TEFL teacher. I enjoy travelling; having spent over 6 months in the last 5 summers backpacking around the globe, and this has inspired me to learn Italian, and join our international team!

“I pride myself on delivering results under pressure. I understand the expectations of my panel of Intermediaries and their clients and am dedicated to providing them with a service that makes Aviva easy to do business with.”
I have worked for Aviva for about 9 years. My first role was a motor claims assessor, I dealt with theft and total loss (write off claims) which meant that I spent much of my time negotiating liability with third party insurers and negotiating vehicle values with customers and brokers.
My first role within Healthcare was again claims assessing. This involved talking to consumers and assessing claims over the phone, providing a pro-active service in obtaining and confirming treatment details for specialists and hospitals. I also spent a period of time as a contact point for our sales team.
I then moved to the customer management team where I focused on customer retention and win-back activities. Despite being new to the role, in my first year I ended up as one of the Top 5 performers in the department.
I have now joined the International Department and will use the skills I have learnt in negotiating, customer service and sales to provide a first class service for our intermediaries.
Outside of work, I am a father of three, I love watching and playing football (I’m a Saints fan), cycling and I play the guitar.

“I have a thorough understanding of Intermediaries needs and pride myself on offering the best possible service and support”
I have worked for Healthcare for 8 years now and initially started on the Intermediary helpline. I then quickly moved on to the Healthcare sales bureau where I have been dealing with IFA’s and healthcare specialist selling and account managing Individual and SME domestic PMI.
I have worked in various teams and have strong links throughout the business as a result of my previous role and a good understanding of the Intermediary market place. I managed 3 National account brokers for 2 years which involved presentations and training to develop their existing book and also renew their existing book with Aviva.
Prior to working for Aviva I served in Her Majesties Royal Marines Commando working throughout the world. It was a natural transition to move in to the intermediary healthcare market at Aviva. I am a father of two and the majority my time is of spent doing children related activities.
