Healthier Solutions for individuals and their families

Healthier Solutions is our new individual PMI product, designed to offer your clients affordable and flexible healthcare. It’s flexibility means you can help create the cover that suits your clients needs and budget. Simply start with the core cover and then offer them options to upgrade cover, or reduce premiums. It also includes:

  • Access to MyHealthCounts, so your clients can find out how healthy they are and receive up to 15% discount on next years premium.
  • NEW - A 66% no claim discount for new policies, plus we’ve added a protected no claim discount option
  • Family cover - pay for themselves and their eldest child under 20 and all younger children are covered FREE
  • NEW - Give your client’s the choice of an increased range of excess options, including £3,000 and £5,000
  • A range of added value benefits including 24-hour GP helpline and health and fitness club discounts
What is covered in the Core Cover?

The Core Cover of Healthier Solutions offers extensive benefits that are traditionally associated with private medical insurance, even if your client chooses not to add any other options.

What are the upgrade options?
  • Other Treatments and Therapies: GP referred physiotherapy, osteopathy, chiropractic and acupuncture treatment. GP minor surgery up to £70 per procedure.
  • Dental and Optical: helps with the cost of routine dental expenses, accidental dental injuries and optical expenses
  • Extended Hospital List: increase the number of hospitals available.
  • Psychiatric in and day-patient cover
  • Protected no claim discount (see no claim discount information)

What are the premium reducing options?
  • Six Week Option: if a GP refers your client to a Specialist for diagnosis, and they need in-patient or day-patient treatment, they will need to use NHS facilities or self fund private treatment - unless the waiting list is 6 weeks or more, in which case they can receive private treatment without delay.
  • NEW - Excess Option: reduces the premium by applying a claims excess of either £100, £200, £500, £1,000, £3,000 and £5,000 to the policy.
  • NEW - Reduced Out-patient Cover: reduces the premium by limiting out-patient cover to either £500 or £1000 and some additional benefits.
  • Trust Care or Signature Hospital Lists: reduces the premium by reducing the number of hospitals available.

No claim discount

With Healthier Solutions your client can look forward to a no claim discount of up to 75%, depending on how many years they are claim free. All new policyholders can obtain a starting discount of up to 66%.

Your customers also protect their no claim discount. This means if they make a claim, they won’t drop down the NCD scale at renewal.
