What is Speedy Diagnostics?

It is a way of your clients finding out what’s wrong with them, as soon as possible. It covers your clients for consultations and diagnostic tests and unlimited tests leading to a diagnosis of their symptoms. It does not cover any treatment resulting from their diagnosis.

What is the main benefit of Speedy Diagnostics?

Your client can avoid lengthy waiting times for consultations and diagnostic tests which means they can get to the bottom of what’s wrong with them, as soon as possible.

What’s the difference between a speedy diagnostics and full private health insurance?

With Speedy Diagnostics your clients are covered for diagnostics only. Any treatment they need as a result of their medical diagnosis will not be covered. A health insurance policy can cover your clients for treatment as well.

What’s the benefit of having Speedy Diagnostics rather than a private health insurance policy?

If your clients main concern is finding out what the medical diagnosis of their symptoms are but are happy to have treatment on the NHS, then Speedy Diagnostics might be for them. As speedy diagnostic doesn’t cover your clients for treatment, we can offer them a lower premium.

Can my clients cover their family on a Speedy Diagnostics policy?

Yes they can. The best bit is that they can cover themselves and their eldest child under 20 and all younger children are covered FREE

How do they claim?

It’s really easy. Once the GP has referred your client to see a specialist for diagnosis, they simply call our customer service team. One of our advisers will confirm what they are covered for and the specialists they can see. If your client has a preferred specialist, they can let us know and we can do a quick check to see if they are on our list.

Would my client be covered for follow up tests and consultations?

Speedy Diagnostics is focused on finding out an initial medical diagnosis and so we wouldn’t cover follow up test or consultations under this policy. Similarly, if your client has to have any ‘pre-operation’ tests these will not be covered under the Speedy Diagnostics policy. However, the consultation where your clients are given test results and diagnosis will be covered
