Healthier Solutions just got even better

We are constantly looking to ensure our new individual PMI product, Healthier Solutions, meets the needs of your clients. Building on the successful launch of Healthier Solutions in November we are now introducing some product enhancements to our out-patient benefits and the excess options. This makes our individual PMI even more attractive for your clients.

By adding increased excess options, changing our reduced out-patient option and adding a psychiatric option, Healthier Solutions is now even more flexible and affordable. This, together with the recent addition of MyHealthCounts and our award winning Back-Up service, means you can offer your client’s a health and wellbeing product to help them get healthy and stay healthy’.

New reduced out-patient options

  • CT, MRI and PET scans
  • Radiotherapy/chemotherapy

Plus, the following benefits will either have monetary limits of either £500 or £1,000 per person per policy year:

  • Specialist consultations
  • Diagnostic tests not included above
  • Specialist referred treatment by a physiotherapist, chiropractor, osteopath
  • Psychiatric treatment as an out-patient

Under this option cover will not be available for:

  • complications of pregnancy and childbirth
  • surgical procedures on the teeth
  • emergency overseas cover

Choosing this option with a £500 limit provides a premium base rate discount of 30% and £1000 provides a 15% reduction.

Please note: Existing customers with the reduced out-patient and selected benefit reduction option (C2) will continue with their current cover.

New excess options

Customers will now be able to choose from a £3,000 and £5,000 excess as well as £100, £200, £500 and £1,000

Choosing a £3,000 excess will provide a 50% premium base rate reduction. A £5,000 limit will provide a 65% reduction.

Plus, remember, Healthier Solutions also offers

  • psychiatric cover upgrade option covering both in and day-patient treatment
  • increased levels on our no claim discount scale, offering customers up to 75% off their premium
  • Protected no claim discount (NCD) option, so should your clients make a claim they won’t drop down the NCD scale
  • increased NHS cash benefit
  • a full range of benefits you’d expect
