New NEBOSH director appointed from Norwich Union

Teresa Budworth from Norwich Union has beenappointed as a director of NEBOSH (the National Examination Boardin Occupational Safety and Health).

As training and consultancy manager for Norwich Union RiskServices, Teresa brings extensive experience within the health andsafety industry to the post. She has worked with the Health andSafety Executive, IOSH and RoSPA on various projects over the yearsand with NEBOSH on the development of national training courses andqualifications.

Teresa is currently responsible for health, safety andenvironmental consultancy and training services for Norwich UnionRisk Services and also works with Norwich Union Insurance tointegrate risk management into commercial insurance products.

She commented: "I am delighted to be joining the board at NEBOSHand am looking forward to taking a major role in helping to developnew courses in line with government initiatives to reduce accidentsand ill health in the workplace."
