Engineering insurance solutions from Norwich Union

Norwich Union has launched a refreshed engineering insuranceoffering to complement its existing segmented commercial productrange. Designed to provide comprehensive cover under one product,it will reduce administration and provide a more streamlinedservice for customers.

The engineering product is available through NorwichUnion’s specialist underwriting centres based in Basildon,Birmingham, Leeds and Glasgow. The centres provide teams of expertunderwriters and dedicated claims handlers dealing solely withengineering insurance.

Covers available as part of the engineering product are:computer, machinery damage, own and hired-in plant, contract worksmachinery, deterioration of stock, and engineering businessinterruption. In addition, engineering inspections can be providedand an online calculator, available via the ebroking website, willenable intermediaries to obtain indicative quotes for computercover.
