Volvo has renewed its contract with RAC for roadside assistance,coinciding with the companies’ 20 years of workingtogether.
The renewal programme is the longest that RAC has secured with amajor motor manufacturer and will cover more than 300,000 new andselected used vehicles.
Abu Shafi, director of corporate partnerships for RAC, says:“This long-term arrangement with Volvo is focused on givingits drivers the best experience possible at a time of need and, inturn, supporting the Volvo brand values of which safety is one ofthe most important.
“Volvo customers have high expectations of their cars andthat extends to how they are treated if they ever require help atthe roadside. That is why we are glad to be extending our 20-yearpartnership.”
The Volvo-RAC contract covers roadside assistance and breakdownrecovery in the UK and mainland Europe (not islands such as Majorcaetc) under the standard 12-month Volvo Assistance programmeprovided with all new as well as Volvo Selected Used Cars.
