Norwich Union acquires Rehabilitation UK

Norwich Union today announces the businessacquisition of Maidenhead-based Rehabilitation UK, one of thecountry’s leading centres for evidence-based treatment* ofinjuries such as whiplash and other musculoskeletal injuries.

This move supports Norwich Union Healthcare’s (NUHC) businessand extends its capability in occupational health andrehabilitation services, which is delivered by its occupationalhealth business, Norwich Union Occupational Health. Dr MartinStrudley, the founder of Rehabilitation UK, will become director ofrehabilitation, Norwich Union Occupational Health and will bringnew ideas and thinking to the way rehabilitation services areprovided by Norwich Union.

Martin and his 15 strong team will continue to deliver and developevidence-based approaches to personal injury care with the supportof a network of physiotherapist and psychological therapists andthrough Norwich Union Occupational Health’s growing networkof medical centres including London, Birmingham, Wolverhampton,Liverpool and Maidenhead.
