Norwich Union makes sense of protection products for customers

Norwich Union has added a new protectionzone to its ‘Make sense of it’ consumer website. Thewebsite,, providesinformation about life and pension products for consumers.

The new zone offers simple information aboutprotection products, including the types of products available andthe points people should consider when looking at protectionproducts. All material on the website has been designed and testedwith customers to be clear and easy to understand.

Louise Colley, head of protection productsat Norwich Union, said: “The ‘Make sense of it’website reflects Norwich Union’s commitment to help customerstake control of their finances. It’s a very useful resourcecarrying simple, helpful information on most life and pensionproducts.

“The newly launched zone offerscomprehensive information about protection products, highlightingthe various types of policies and factors people should be thinkingabout. It also explains the need for full disclosure whencompleting application forms and highlights the potentialconsequences of non-disclosure.

“‘Make sense of it’ hasbeen designed to be helpful for all consumers not just NorwichUnion customers and has been very successful with around 60,000hits since its initial launch in November.

“The site also outlines the ways inwhich customers can buy protection products, including links to adviser website.”
