RAC unveil season long 'RAC to the rescue' campaign for BTCC fans

RAC, sponsors of Team RAC who compete in the Dunlop MSA BritishTouring Car Championship (BTCC), has launched a season long "RAC tothe rescue" campaign, which will provide benefits to enhance therace day experience of fans at all 10 rounds of the season.

To tie in with RAC’s latest advertising campaign, whichfeatures Vinnie Jones and Lennox Lewis, "RAC to the rescue" willoffer fans the chance to win various prizes and experiences to addto their enjoyment of the biggest motorsport championship in thecountry.

The campaign launches at Brands Hatch with RAC "Orange Tickets"being placed in random official race day programmes, granting thewinners free entry to every round of the 2007 BTCC season.

The "RAC to the rescue" campaign will then move to each round ofthe season covering Rockingham, Thruxton, Croft, Oulton Park,Donington, Snetterton and Knockhill circuits.

Colin Turkington, Team RAC driver, said: "It’s a fantasticgesture from RAC and I’m sure the fans will have great funtaking advantage of ‘RAC to the rescue’. Supportersmake many sacrifices to follow the championship so it’ssuperb that RAC can help and assist them."
