The second half of the 2007 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship gets underway at Donington Park on Sunday 15 July and Team RAC head to Derbyshire confident of success after victories for Colin Turkington at the previous two rounds of the season.
Team RAC currently lie fourth in the Team Championship, with Turkington in fourth place (93 points) and Onslow-Cole in 10th with 57 points in the individual standings.
Northern Irishman, Turkington, goes into the round with a recent history of success at his favourite circuit, Donington Park.
In 2006 he took a win and a second place finish, and is confident that Team RAC have turned a corner with its BMW 320si.
Colin Turkington said: "I was delighted to get another win at Oulton Park. We got things going at Croft with the first win of the season and I can only see this form continuing. We don't need to change the car a great deal and can dial it in quite quickly at every circuit, wet or dry, so we are in good shape."
Tom Onslow-Cole added: "Donington Park is a great track and one I feel very comfortable on. It is a challenging circuit with a fast flowing layout that makes it great to drive. Oulton Park was a difficult round for me but a good learning experience and I'm now fighting fit and focussed on the second half of the season and getting my first win for Team RAC."
Team manager, Mike Ewan, commented: "I'm happy with the recent results of Team RAC and confident heading into the sixth round of the championship.
"Donington Park is a great circuit and one that has been favourable to us in the past. Since Croft we have seen the continual improvement of the car, as Colin's results have proved. Considerable repair work had to be done on both cars after Oulton Park, but they are ready and we're confident that we can carry on our performance of recent weeks, and move up in both the Team's and Drivers' Championships."
RAC will be continuing their ‘RAC to the rescue' campaign at Donington Park, which provides benefits to enhance the race day experience of fans at every round of the championship.
Tying into RAC's latest advertising campaign, which features Vinnie Jones and Lennox Lewis, the activity will see RAC coming to the rescue of families across the country by giving them the chance to win packages which include access to the exclusive RAC family area, where over 1,000 RAC staff will be supporting Team RAC.
Alastair Pegg, RAC director of marketing, said: "Team RAC are improving as the season goes on. It was fantastic to see Colin get another win at Oulton Park and I'm sure the support of over 1,000 RAC staff at Donington Park will inspire the drivers to further wins. We felt it only right to give away places in the family area for fans to come and enjoy the additional race day entertainment we're providing.
"RAC have many exciting initiatives planned for the remaining rounds in 2007 so supporters should log onto teamrac.co.uk, look out in the media and at the rounds themselves during the season for details of our activity and how they can take part."

The championship is firmly established not only as one of Britain's most popular form of motor racing but also as one of the UK's top sporting attractions. Over the past decade, action-packed BTCC race meetings have repeatedly drawn crowds on a par with Premiership football matches and Test Match cricket, with over 200,000 loyal spectators and over 20 million terrestrial television viewers.
RAC is one of the UK's most progressive motoring organisations and a provider for both private and business motorists. Whether it's roadside assistance, windscreen repair and replacement, learning to drive, vehicle inspections, legal and financial services or up-to-the-minute traffic and travel information - RAC is able to meet motorists' needs.
Aviva announced its acquisition of RAC in 2005. The acquisition brings together RAC's powerful brand and customer base with the expertise and leading position in motor insurance of Norwich Union Insurance (part of Aviva). Norwich Union is the UK's largest insurer, insuring one in seven motor vehicles and with a market share of around 15 per cent.
