Article date: 29 March 2010

Joy Dutton, 26, from Coseley, Wolverhampton has been awarded the title of RAC’s Customer Service Ambassador of the Year – a prestigious award that marks her as RAC’s top performing customer service advisor.

Joy’s outstanding customer service skills, coupled with her commitment and motivation, has resulted in her success at this year’s RAC Ambassador Awards held at the Motor Heritage Museum, Gaydon, on 27 March.

Following the awards, Joy said: “I feel really proud of what the team has achieved since June 2009 when we were formed. To win the Ambassador Award really is the icing on the cake!”

Adrian McCarthy, head of technical services, RAC, said: “Joy takes great pride in the service she provides to her customers and thoroughly deserves to win this award. She is a very up-beat, motivated and committed member of the team and is a real pillar of support and motivation for her colleagues.”

Joy, an avid outdoors enthusiast, is now setting her sights to her next personal challenge – climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania this June, to raise money for the Compton Hospice in Wolverhampton.
