Accidental Permanent Injury Insurance

Protect against the financial impact of an unexpected permanent injury

Aviva Accident Permanent Injury Insurance provides a tax-free lump sum if you are permanently disabled by an accident from just £2.02 per month.

You choose the amount you will be covered for from £40,000 to £100,000. The amount you receive will vary according to the injury being claimed for and the level of cover you have selected.

Available to anyone aged between 18 and 80 providing your main private residence is in the UK.

As long as you are aged between 18 and 80 and your main private residence is in the UK, you are eligible for Accidental Permanent Injury Insurance.

You can choose to include your partner if they are aged between 18 and 80 and they live and share financial responsibility with you.

No medical required. This insurance does not cover claims for injury caused by illness, disease or a gradual loss of function (unless this results from an accident).

This insurance is not intended to cover any injury caused by:

  • sickness, disease unless this is the direct result of an accident; or
  • a gradual loss of function which is not as a direct result of an accident.

Protects against certain types of permanent injury.

This insurance is intended to cover a range of permanent injuries, however not every injury is covered. It is not intended to cover injuries that do not result in permanent loss, for example broken bones, sprains and other soft tissue injuries.

Worldwide cover.

As long as your main private residence is in the UK, you are covered against accidental injury that happens anywhere in the world.

You can choose to insure your partner.

You can choose to include your partner if they are aged between 18 and 80 and they live and share financial responsibility with you.

Pays a benefit regardless of whether you have any other personal accident insurance.

Accidental Permanent Injury Insurance will pay any benefit due regardless of whether the person making the claim is covered by any other personal accident insurance.

You should review your circumstances on a regular basis and consider whether this insurance still meets your needs.

Available immediately from just £2.02 per month (for an individual who selects £40,000 of cover).

The premium changes depending on the value of cover you select and whether you choose to insure your partner.
