What the course covers
On completion of this 3 day course, delegates will:
- Have the knowledge and confidence to effectively manage a first aid incident or emergency in the workplace
- Have HSE accreditation to enable them to practice first aid in the workplace for a period of 3 years before requalification is required

- Nominated workplace first aiders.
What delegates will learn
The course will include:
- Managing an incident
- The priorities of first aid
- The legal duties of employers
- Treatment of an unconscious casualty
- Resuscitation / CPR
- Heart Attacks / Choking / Asphyxiation / Shock / Bleeding / Fractures / Burns / Eye Injuries / Poisoning and exposure to harmful substances
- Common workplace injuries
- The correct use and management of first aid kits
- Appropriate record keeping
We are also able to provide 2 day Requalification and 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work courses
