NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health

Aviva Risk Management Solutions' NEBOSH National Diploma is the professional qualification for Safety Practitioners. As a holder of the NEBOSH National Diploma you will meet the academic requirements for Graduate membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health. And on the successful completion of this course you'll not only be able to use the designatory letters Grad IOSH, but you will have taken an important step on the way to becoming a Chartered Member of IOSH.

NEBOSH National Diploma

Aviva Risk Management Solutions' six week NEBOSH Diploma course covers the content of the following four core units:

  • Unit A: Managing Health and Safety
  • Unit B: Hazardous Agents in the Workplace
  • Unit C: Workplace and Work Equipment Safety
  • Unit D: Workplace-based assignment which tests your understanding of the whole syllabus.

We've broken down the syllabus into six one week blocks of training so you can fit your studies around your other commitments. There are two weeks of study for each unit with a supervised self study element for Unit A.

We run the Diploma course in Stratford upon Avon and Wigan. The teaching is a mix of lectures, discussions and group work. Your understanding of the syllabus will be assessed through a combination of examinations and the Unit D Assessment and we can help your preparations for both (see below)

NEBOSH National Diploma examinations are held twice a year in January and July. To be eligible to sit a Diploma examination you will need to be registered with NEBOSH approximately 8 week before the exam date.

Optional NEBOSH National Diploma Unit D Tutorial - From £350 Ex V.A.T.

Many Diploma candidates find the Unit D Assignment a daunting prospect, especially if their experience of producing reports at degree level and beyond is limited.

In light of this Aviva Risk Management Solutions’ expert tutors offer an optional two–day course in order to clarify what is expected. It also provides you with the opportunity to discuss ideas with other students as well as allowing you to pick up some useful tools to help with research and report writing too.

NEBOSH National Diploma Revision Course - From £330 Ex V.A.T.

Each unit of the NEBOSH National Diploma is examined separately and so you can choose to sit the exams for one, two or even all three units at each sitting. To support this, and to give you the greatest chance of coming through with flying colours, Aviva Risk Management Solutions run a series of revision courses that will help you perform brilliantly on the big day.
