Choose your own funds

If you’re comfortable choosing your own funds, we’ve got a range of Aviva Investor funds that cover a number of assets, regions and investment styles.

  • Each fund has its own factsheet to help you understand more about the fund before you decide to invest. The information is purely factual. We can’t offer you advice on any of these funds.
  • You should also make sure you read the key investor information document and the supplementary information document for each fund you choose to invest in so that you understand the associated risk.
  • You should think of any investment you may make in these funds as a medium to long-term investment of at least five years.
  • The value of your investment can go down as well as up. You may not get back the amount you originally invested.

Aviva Investor funds

An explanation of the terms used

Fund name

Accumulation and income shares/units

This tells you how we treat the income earned by our funds.

  • If you choose accumulation shares/units, we invest your income back into the fund, which increases the price of your shares/units.
  • If you choose income shares/units, any income payable will be distributed to you. Alternatively you may choose to have your income reinvested, where your income is used to purchase additional shares.

Share class

Funds are divided into shares or units, some of which may have special characteristics. The fund manager identifies different types of shares or units within a fund with a letter or number (for example, class A, class B, class 1 and class 2).

Different unit or share classes in the same fund may carry different charges or have a different minimum investment level.

Asset type

This tells you the main type of investment asset this fund invests in.

Aims to give you

This tells you whether the fund aims to build up your money, give you an income or offer a combination of both.
