Despair
to Hope

Aviva's Street to School programme is working in partnership with Railway Children to get children living on UK streets back into everyday life.

Children on the UK's streets have never been so vulnerable as they are today.

At Aviva, we want to help. We believe that every child living or working on the streets should have the opportunity to fulfil their potential.

In order to achieve this, we've partnered with Railway Children, one of the key UK charities working with these vulnerable children. Our immediate goal is to raise awareness about the 100,000 children who run away every year and often end up on the streets.

Our long-term ambition is to improve the situation by providing Railway Children with much-needed resources and funding. This will help to develop safety nets for children who are living on the streets, or who are at risk of doing so. We'll be working to get them back into everyday life. Ultimately, our aim is to change government policy.

By supporting Aviva's Street to School programme you can help to give these vulnerable children a brighter future.

Who are Railway Children?

Railway Children helps vulnerable children living alone and at risk on the streets. The charity does this in three ways

  • Meeting the immediate needs of the children on the streets
  • Changing people's perceptions of street children so they are not ignored and passed by
  • Holding governments responsible for change
