As more couples decide to keep finances separate, we asked UK couples how they split the finances in their household.
We spoke to British couples and found:
- More than a third of people living with a partner admit to not sharing any financial accounts or bills with their other half
- 1 in 14 people stockpile savings their partner knows nothing about
- 1 person in 20 deliberately hides debt from their partner
- 1 in 4 people don’t know who the beneficiary of their pension is.
