Seems flexible and good quality worth being more expensive than others can insured a student temporarily . Expense offset by including road recovery

Horrific

Aviva failed to inform me my car insurance was up for renewal, they let me drive around for nearly 3 months with no insurance before I got a letter from the police. When I called them they blamed a ‘systems error’ and said they’d calls me back in 7 days but they didn’t, or if they did they didn’t even leave a voicemail. Still now they haven’t apologised, explained the issue or compensated for it. I wonder how many other people they have done this too.... awful.

Simple and fast efficient service

I had car insurance with Aviva and following a break in at home the car was stolen. The claims process was smooth and stress free and we received payment within 3 days, which was excellent.

Car Insurance- No Claims Bonus

I bought a comprehensive car insurance. I have not owned a car for a number of years and have been using a car club scheme and been covered under their overall insurance policy. Despite obtaining a letter from the car club company saying I had no accidents or claims for more than 9 years, Aviva would not accept that evidence for NCB purposes . Thats very narrow and myopic approach.

Bought car insurance ,filled in online quote ,liked quote, phoned helpline number ,talked through all aspects of policy to confirm I had completed it accurately ,advisor was easy to understand, i.e. not sourced to overseas call centre ! Very helpful !
