Earlier this month we held two Broker Briefings in London and Manchester. Thank you for everyone who attended.
We’ll be sharing more detail on some of the key themes from the event over the next few weeks. Look out for future emails. In the interim, here’s a summary of what was discussed at the event.
Nick Reynolds, Aviva Health and Wellbeing Sales Director, opened the event by giving a business update showcasing innovation and service improvements that support our mission to provide healthcare with simplicity, quality and sustainability at its heart.
Alastair Antell, Head of Client Management and Propositions, Aviva Health & Protection, explained how we’ve used broker and customer feedback to help inform our new proposition developments and make it easier for you to do business with us. He shared the performance of Aviva Digital GP and gave an overview of the key proposition enhancements you can expect to see next year.
Andrew Watkinson, Claims & Operations Director, Aviva Health & Protection, discussed how through quality guiding we’re evolving our claims service propositions to empower your clients to make informed choices about their healthcare.
Digital continues to be a key enabler to enhance and simplify the claim process and make it easier for you to do business with us. We’ve heavily invested in digital broker service capabilities significantly improving the experience. This includes the launch of self service through the new Broker Portal. He also shared plans for what’s next in this area as we head towards 2020.
Dr Doug Wright, Medical Director and Dr Subashini M. Associate Medical Director, Aviva Health & Protection, explained how we’re on our journey from bill payer to commissioner of value-based healthcare. They set-out what value-based healthcare means to Aviva and the benefits initiatives such as quality guiding, condition-led pathways and Networks offer your clients.
