IPMI Changes to Currency Commission

Published: 28 Aug 2017

As part of our commitment to remain transparent at all times, Aviva International have reviewed communications associated with payments in a foreign currency.

With effect from the 1st May all schemes with a dollar or euro exchange rate were simplified so that our quotes and renewal terms only illustrate the premium in the currency it must be paid.

As part of this update, we have also reviewed commission calculations to our international intermediary partners.

For consistency and transparency we will now pay commission based on the currency the invoice is paid

In line with our terms of business, this communication provides our partners with five days notice of this change, which we gave on 28 August 2017 in the Health Hub.
