In the event of a claim, any drivers aged 24 years old and under would have an additional excess to pay. This is in addition to your voluntary and compulsory excesses. Young driver excess does not apply to glass claims, but a dedicated glass excess will apply. Please see your schedule for details.

No changes generating an additional premium will be made to your policy, until you reply accepting the quote and confirming you want to proceed.

Are you looking to add the driver on a temporary basis or for the remainder of the insurance term?

Please be aware the temporary driver option is a non-refundable option.

You can select from 1 to 30 days. There is no limit to the number of Temporary Additional Driver changes that can be made in any one insurance year, but the total duration of these must not exceed 60 days. However, no one additional driver can be covered for more than 30 days. Where cover is required in excess of 30 days for any driver they must be added to the vehicle on a permanent basis.
