Aviva Tackling Numbers Part 2: Parents vs Bath Rugby Players maths challenge

Parents vs Bath Rugby Players maths challenge

Recently we invited Bath Rugby’s Semesa Rokoduguni, Henry Thomas and Sam Nixon to St Mary’s Church of England Primary School in Writhlington, Radstock, to go head to head with the parents of the Key Stage 2 pupils.

After a warm welcome the match challenge soon got underway, with a series of 10 tough rugby-themed maths problems that the children had created themselves earlier that day during their own tackling numbers session.

To add to the occasion, we also brought along our very own quiz-master in the form of Aviva Ambassador and Rugby World Cup winner Will Greenwood, who hosted the Parents vs Players maths challenge and helped the children mark the answers.

After the 10 tough questions, the scores were even and it all came down to one final tie breaker.

Click play on the video above to find out how they got on and who was crowned as the Aviva Tackling Numbers Champions.
