Funding and support where it matters
The Aviva Community Fund gives you the chance to secure funding for an important cause or charity close to your heart. We’re now closed for entries, but why not get ready to promote your project or see how you can support your favourite cause when voting opens on 23 October?
Up to £25,000
With hundreds of awards at 4 levels up to £25,000, this is your chance to gain vital funding to boost a local project that matters to you. It doesn’t matter whether your cause is large or small. We believe worthy projects come in all shapes and sizes.
A helping hand
We’ll arm you with tips and guidance to help you promote your entry as much as possible. Pick up social media and PR skills, find out how previous winners have gained supporters and learn how to raise extra money if you’re also crowdfunding.
Real lives, real impact
We’ve seen first hand the amazing impact that a great idea, lots of effort and the right support and funding can make to lives and communities.
The idea of a community is really important to me. I grew up in a close-knit environment that shaped me into the person I am today. And wherever I travel, either in the UK or abroad, I see how different areas have different needs. With the Aviva Community Fund, all types of groups can put forward their very unique and specific needs for support.

Projects that deliver
The funding we were awarded has allowed us to achieve so much more than we set out to do. We’ve been able to extend the life of our project, allowing us to reach many more veterans and their families for longer. Plus, the effort we put into social media not only helped secure us funding but has boosted ongoing support for our work.

New this year
We want to do all we can to help your project be a success and make positive change – even if you don’t secure funding. So we’ve added some tools we think could make a difference.
This year we’re partnering with Crowdfunder UK to give you the chance to raise extra funds for your project as part of the competition. As you promote your project to get votes, remind people they can donate or pledge too.
Facebook community group
We’ve set up a Facebook community group so you can chat about your experiences and share tips and advice. We’ll feature projects and the people behind them, including lots of great guidance to help your cause stand out.
