Travel insurance direct from Aviva

You’re covered for up to a maximum of 31 days for each trip, for an additional premium this can be extended to 45, 60 or 90 days. UK holidays are also included as long as they include at least two consecutive nights pre-booked accommodation. Plus our Defaqto 5 Star Rating provides you with independent expert reassurance about the quality of cover we provide.

Annual travel insurance includes cover for:

  • Emergency medical expenses – up to £10 million
  • Lost or stolen passport – up to £750
  • Lost or stolen money – up to £500 overall and up to £300 for cash and bank notes
  • Legal expenses – up to £50,000
  • Charges incurred if you have to cancel or abandon your trip – up to £5,000 per person
  • Kennel or cattery fees you’ve paid or have to pay if your trip is cancelled or abandoned

If you go on a winter sports holiday or take your golf clubs abroad, for an additional premium, you can add winter sports travel insurance or golf cover. We can also provide business travel insurance cover.

We can provide annual travel insurance for new customers under 75 years of age. If you are aged 75 or over, cover may be available from AllClear.

Overall pleasant experience

Arranging cover was quick, simple and painless. Whilst I have fortunately not had to use the policy, the process of arranging it was certainly simple.

Quick and easy

Awfull customer experience

Buying this joint policy was OK but getting a copy of the policy document was a nightmare. 4 Phone calls with long waits, return call request ignored. 1 email, promised response within 72 hrs, ignored. My Aviva has registration restrictions we could not get round. At the end of the day I was told that AVIVA had sent me 2 emails that were returned. I asked why they had not advised me of this problem by phone. My ISP website showed no problems with any of my emails. Eventually got someone to send an email while I was on the phone, surprise surprise it worked. Aviva have lost a customer.
