Note: Conveyors of all sorts and types are generally not considered as lifting equipment. The items are transported rather than lifted.

Dock leveller

Inspection Frequency:
12 months

Note: Some dock levellers are designed to lift persons. These would then fall under the requirements of LOLER and be inspected every 6 months.

Electric winch

Inspection Frequency:
12 months

Related Regulation:
PUWER 

Note: Would normally not be used for lifting or lowering. However a 12 month inspection regime may be considered under PUWER.

Tirfor

Inspection Frequency:
12 months

Related Regulation:
PUWER

Note: Normally used as a way to "winch" or tow items rather than lift. If they are used to lift, they would fall under the requirements of LOLER, with a 12 month inspection.
