24 hour medical emergency assistance

We'll help arrange medical treatment, admission to hospital, ambulance transfers or air evacuation, when it's medically necessary. We'll liaise with doctors, provide translation services and even pass information and messages to families back home. That way, your employees can leave all the administration to us and focus on getting better.

24 hour medical advice

Even if it's not an emergency, there may be times when your employees want medical assistance out of hours or have a medical query. We've teamed up with StandbyMD to provide access to a network of medical providers in 86 countries around the world, including major cities in the USA.

StandbyMD gives your employees the extra reassurance of:

  • 24/7 phone access to a physician
  • Home visits by a physician in selected cities
  • Physician co-ordination to an emergency room
  • Medical referrals to medical specialists, chiropractors, dentists, walk-in clinics, urgent care centres or hospitals for evaluation and treatment.

24 hour secure online access to medical records

Your employees will have free access to My Health Passport. This online service lets them store medical records, insurance and other important documents securely online. It's up to each individual who can access their information (such as trusted medical practitioners or a family member), providing reassurance that their medical records and other important documents are always on hand, wherever they are in the world.

Healthcare provision varies around the world. Wherever you are based, you can be sure that your employees will have the support of Aviva to help should they need to make a claim or require specialist advice.

In some areas, we enlist the expertise of companies with region-specific experience - to give your employees that extra peace of mind, when making a claim can be more complex.

In the USA

We've teamed up with Olympus, a market leader in healthcare claims management who will make arrangements for any medical treatment. In effect, this means that your employees shouldn't need to pay directly for healthcare as in the vast majority of cases their invoices will be settled directly for eligible costs.

This service is available for members based in the USA and travelling to the USA on holiday or for business, under the 60 days emergency cover. They'll have access to:

  • 525,000 physicians and 6,000 hospitals in the USA
  • A 24/7 free helpline for advice on medical queries
  • An online search facility to find medical providers
  • A pharmacy network of up to 57,000 pharmacies in the USA
  • CVS pharmacy discounts

If you select our Dental option, employees based in the USA will also have access to DenteMAX, a dental network of over 100,000 dentists.

For all Gulf Solutions policies

Across all four Gulf Solutions policies, we've made sure our relationships with experts in the region will give your employees the additional support they need.

We've teamed up with NAS Administration Services, who can offer assistance to all your employees living and working in Kuwait, Oman, Qatar or the United Arab Emirates.

NAS are a market leader in claims management with a network of over 2,000 healthcare providers in the Gulf region. They will manage any claims your employees make, providing direct settlement in the vast majority of cases, including for dental and optical claims.

If you currently have an Emirates International Solutions policy, your claims will continue to be managed by Neuron.
