Morley boosts global equities team

Morley Fund Management, one of the UK’s largest fundmanagers, has appointed Simon Clements as a portfolio constructorin its global equities team. This appointment, a new position inthe team, will ensure the smooth running of a £1 billion mandatebeing awarded to the team during the second half of 2004.

Simon's role will be to ensure that the team constructsportfolios as efficiently as possible without diluting theirinvestment style, in light of the increase in funds undermanagement. He is moving from Morley’s highly regarded riskmanagement team and brings with him eight years of investmentexperience. He joined Morley in June 2000 and previously worked forKuwait Investment Office, Chase Manhattan Bank and Westpac in riskand performance measurement roles.

Led by Michael Jennings, the global equities team believes inactive stock selection, managing portfolios without bias towardsgeography or sector.
