How do my employees make a claim, what do I do?

Your employees don’t need to involve you in any claims. This makes My Health Cash Plan an extremely easy benefit to administer: there’s no claims’ paperwork involved for your administrators. You can read more about how employees make a claim, on our All you need to know about claims page.

Day-to-day, how do I administer the policy?

For cover to stay in place, you must make sure that your premiums are paid on time. But because you cover all of your employees at the same time and all employees must have the same level of cover, there’s very little administration involved.

  • After you’ve received our welcome pack, read the terms and conditions, and your policy schedule. Make sure all the details are correct.
  • We’ll send out handbooks (if you’ve asked for printed versions) and policy schedules for distribution to your staff. The policy schedules are private and confidential: everyone needs to check their individual details, so that they understand what My Health Cash Plan does and does not cover.
  • If any details need changing, your employees can call us on the same customer services line: 0800 158 5190.

If an employee leaves or joins your company, we need to know. Use the same number: 0800 158 5190. For other changes (such as an employee’s new address), our team will give you a mid-term spreadsheet, which should be sent securely so that we can update your policy.

What will my employees be given?

All of your employees will be given a policy schedule, and have access to the My Health Cash Plan handbook. The schedule will detail what they’re covered for and which options you’ve chosen for their My Health Cash Plan. When you set up the scheme, you’ll decide whether to issue printed copies of the handbook or use an electronic PDF version which could be hosted on your company’s intranet.
