Over 50's Guaranteed Lifelong Protection Plan

Our Guaranteed Lifelong Protection Plan has been specially designed to guarantee life cover to UK Residents aged 50 to 80. It's a life insurance plan that will pay a specific amount of money to your loved ones when you die.

Amount of cover

The amount of cover you can get depends on your age, gender and the premiums you pay, there is no medical to take and we won't ask any questions about your lifestyle. You can get a quote now.

How much does it cost

You can take out a policy for between £7 and £50 per month. You will need to make your payments by Direct Debit and the maximum term you will need to make payments for is 20 years, depending on your age when you take out the plan.

You can have multiple plans, but since 25 January 2010 the maximum monthly payment for all plans can not exceed £100. Plans issued before 25 January 2010 are not taken into account when applying this limit.

The guaranteed cash payout

Unlike some similar plans, ours will pay out when you have been making payments for just 12 months. And, if you die after 12 months due to an accident we will pay double the sum insured.

If you die within the first 12 months we will pay an amount equal to the premiums that have been paid unless death was caused by an accident, in which case we would pay the full sum insured.

The plan has no cash in value, so if you stop paying your premiums before the end of the payment term, your life cover will end 30 days after the date the last premium was due and you'll get nothing back.

Depending on your circumstances, the cash sum paid out could be less than the total amount you've paid in premiums and the value of the lump sum will be reduced by inflation.
