You must read our cancellation terms before completing the form to request cancellation.
When you provide us with the last date that you want cover, your cover will finish at the end of that day. This means that if you ask for your last day of cover to be 2nd of the month, your insurance for all vehicles will finish at 23:59 on the 2nd and you will no longer be insured from the 3rd.
If you're looking to stop your policy from renewing, please use our cancel policy at renewal form.
In some cases, you don't need to cancel and just need to use a different form:
- If you're moving home, use our change of address form
- If you're looking to add, remove or replace a vehicle, use our vehicle change forms
- To add or remove drivers, use our driver change forms.
You may be entitled to a refund of the premium paid, subject to a deduction for the time for which you have been covered and a cancellation fee of £38 plus insurance premium tax. We apply for a payment 3 days before the collection date and it usually takes up to 3 working days to receive notification from the bank whether or not a Direct Debit payment has been successful.
In the event that you owe us money for your time on cover at the cancellation date, we will let you know.
