Customer reviews consist of an overall rating out of five and provide feedback on the experience of buying a policy and making a claim with us. Customers also have the option to provide a rating out of five on additional aspects of their experience. After buying a policy, customers are able rate us on value for money, ease of purchase, policy features and benefits and customer experience. After making a claim, customers are invited to rate us on ease of claim process, speed of resolution, fairness and customer experience.

Unfit for purpose

The first attempt to get through on the phone to discuss a possible claim was relatively quick, appx 10 mins, and the rep was extremely sympathetic and helpful. I was told Aviva would fund lock replacement without loss of excess. Thereafter, silence. A querying e-mail went unanswered. Two subsequent phonecalls necessitated waits of 22 and 29 minutes (with enforced ghastly music tapes) before getting through. Again reps themselves a model of hepfulness; assurances given that locks could be replaced under policy and without paying an excess. On Saturday informed by BMW repair workshop that Aviva had approved claim but that I would be required to pay an excess of £550, a sum greater than the cost of replacing the locks.The prospect of making another phone call is very daunting.

Saved Me a Fortune

I rarely leave reviews online for anything, but I have to make an exception regarding my recent Van Insurance purchase. I struggled to find anything that wasn't extortionate on all the comparison websites. Luckily I looked at Aviva's website and they gave me a quote that saved me hundreds. I was so happy and relieved. Thank you so much Aviva! It was so easy to buy as well and I didn't have irritating people over the phone asking me question after question or leaving me on hold for ages. I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship!

Smooth as silk

Having been let down by my insurer of 11 years and having spent some time on various comparison sites, I suddenly remembered Aviva's tv advertising that I would not find it there and went direct to the Aviva website. Getting a quote was very simple, I was able to easily explore various options and, best of all, I got better cover for less than my previous provider, whom I'd always felt to be very good until this year.

Great price for Everything I Needed

Tried the comparison websites but they couldn't get near the price of a policy from a renown company like Aviva so very happy to insure my Merceded Sprinter with them.

Good Result

Having experienced the disappointment of damage to my vehicle I was very pleased when the insurers and repair organisation dealt with my claim and its subsequent resolution so promptly and effectively.

repair

After stupidly scraping my car door on the garden wall I phoned Aviva to see what I could do to get it repaired. The advisor was sympathetic and very helpful. He found a repair centre within 10 minutes of my home and arranged for them to call me back to sort a convenient time to assess the damage. The call took less than 5 minutes and requirex no further input from me to process the claim. Repair centre called within an hour and car was repaired as new 2 weeks later. Very efficient, helpful and friendly service. Would definitely recommend Aviva.
