Customer reviews consist of an overall rating out of five and provide feedback on the experience of buying a policy and making a claim with us. Customers also have the option to provide a rating out of five on additional aspects of their experience. After buying a policy, customers are able rate us on value for money, ease of purchase, policy features and benefits and customer experience. After making a claim, customers are invited to rate us on ease of claim process, speed of resolution, fairness and customer experience.

too easy

Either online or on the phone, the buying process from Aviva is easy and hassle free. I checked on two comparison sites but still could not beat Aviva's value, customer service and package content. I found that I could beat the renewal quote some years, by getting a new quote. Overall very happy with Aviva and will continue to insure through them if they remain competitive.

Claim review

Effortless and Efficient from Aviva

From the 1st point of contact Aviva they handled my claim effortlessly. The only gripe I have is the Garage in my opinion took far to long with the repair. We did have a courtesy car and we weren't inconvenienced to much. when we did get our car back repair was to a very high standard. Overall very happy and have recommended to friends & family

Claim review

Unhappy customer

Given that our car was hit from behind we still had to pay our access! Why? I don't understand why we were then contacted by a solicitor to "TRY" and reclaim our money. As we had a replacement car as part of our policy we were told by the rental company we had to pay 600 pounds excess if we had an accident. Naturally we refused the car as I didn't want to face another payment even if someone else hit us from the back! I really do not understand this way of dealing with customers and we are very unhappy with this process. I hope someone from Aviva contacts me to explain why I am funding their operation!!! In sending this I do not expect this to be edited or removed to make all responses appear to be good.

i would recommend this insurance company only this that disappoints me is proof of no claims bonus wen they to all details of my previous insurance company which I thought was for proof of no claim discount but it must have been to be nosey not anything else

If your old insurance details are available when setting the insurance up, we do ask for these to enable us to complete verbal proof of No Claims Discount. Service second to none expertly dealt with and considerate throughout. Dealt with by Kymberley who was so professional and really cared to get the best and correct result. A very painless experience from start to finish. Better than expected outcome and when told something would be dealt with throughout the process it was.
