You can use our calculator to find out if you could be eligible for a lifetime mortgage and how much money you may be able to release from your home. A lifetime mortgage is a lifetime commitment and there are many things to consider so the calculator should be used as a general guide only.
This is a lifetime mortgage. To understand the features and risks, ask for a personalised illustration.
Lifetime mortgages will not be available to every combination of age and property value. Generally speaking, the younger you are, the more your property will need to be worth to qualify and depending on your individual circumstances, you may be eligible for certain products but not others.
If you occupy the property with your partner, and are married or in a civil partnership, you must apply for a joint plan. You'll need to put the age of whichever of you is youngest as the 'age of the applicant'.
Lifetime mortgages are not suitable for the following property types; freehold flat or maisonette, studio or basement flat, flat or maisonette in a local authority or housing authority block of more than four storeys, mobile home or houseboat, farm or small holding being used for agriculture, hotel, retirement property, guest house or B&B.
The eligibility calculator is a general guide to how much money you may be able to release. For more information, please give us a call.
