Switching from another provider

If you’re switching from another healthcare provider, we’ll make sure your policy with Aviva starts on the right day. This way, you can be confident there’ll be no gap in your cover. We’ll also do our best to meet your demands and needs as best we can, taking into account what we can offer and what you can afford. And if we can’t, then we’ll explain why and talk through some options that could help bring costs down.

Moving your policy from a company scheme

If you’re buying a policy because you’re leaving your previous company’s scheme, we’ll do our best to give you individual private healthcare with the same or similar benefits at a price you can afford. Sometimes a company’s scheme offers benefits that aren’t available through our individual private healthcare, or there may be an extra charge to include them on your policy. If that’s the case, we’ll explain the costs involved or try to provide alternatives.
