Excellent customer service at a very difficult time.

The persons who handled my claim was most helpful and understansing. My claim was processed expeditiously and efficiently and I was satisfied with the outcome.

Car Insurance Claim

It has now been nearly 4 weeks since my accident and I still have had no offer at all on my car which is apparently beyond repair however nothing has been put in writing to me confirming this. After many phone calls to both Aviva and also the independant assessor that Aviva uses I have been told excuse after excuse informing me that I will receive a call back. After 3 weeks of constant phoning I think someone at Aviva must be on a long lunch break or they cannot afford stamps to go on a letter maybe?!? Will certainly not be using Aviva again and a word of warning to anyone who has an accident and writes their car off, ' Be prepared for a very long wait ' ~ They maybe good on price but if I had known their claim service woudl be this bad I certainly woudl not have taken out my car insurance with them.

Naturally I'm really sorry to see there has been a delay with the claim and would like to investigate what's caused this. Absolutely fantastic from start to finish, polite and jovial on the phone - made a real effort to explain everything to me. In particular, their information regarding the temporary effect my unsettled claim from an uninsured driver would have was second to none. In comparison to other insurers.... absolutely A*
