Wellbeing support at your fingertips

Whether they're struggling with stress or looking to get fit, your employees will get a range of support for their wellbeing with the Aviva Wellbeing app.

A GP in your pocket

Your employees get access to the Aviva Digital GP app, where they can book appointments 24/7, and most are available on the same day as their preferred booking time.

Support through menopause

Through the Aviva Digital GP app, your people can talk to a trained menopause health professional. With access to up to six 30-minute consultations and a symptom assessment tool, it helps you support your employees through menopause.

These wellbeing services, except the Stress Counselling helpline, are non-contractual benefits that Aviva could change or withdraw at any time.

To be eligible for Wellbeing services, your employees must be residents of Great Britain, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, or the Isle of Man.

What services are available through Optimum?

Aviva Digital GP*

Provided by Square Health, the Aviva Digital GP app puts expert health support at the touch of a button. With unlimited access to video consultations and repeat NHS prescriptions, your insured employees get access to a private GP around the clock.

Through the Aviva Digital GP app, your employees can:

  • View GP profiles to choose a GP, or book the same GP they have previously consulted with via the app in the last six months
  • Order repeat NHS prescriptions
  • Choose from collection or delivery of private prescriptions*
  • Add children under 16 years old to their Aviva Digital GP account, provided they are the parent or guardian and reside at the same address
  • Access consultation advice

*Whilst the prescription fee is waived, the patient will need to pay the dispensing pharmacy for the cost of medication. Delivery is subject to Royal Mail charge.

 

Aviva Line Manager Toolkit: Mental Health*

Make sure your managers know what to do when an employee’s struggling. With video modules and content all designed by clinicians, the Aviva Line Manager Toolkit: Mental Health helps your managers know how to support mental health in the workplace. 

It’s available to both insured and uninsured line managers as part of an eligible Aviva scheme. From spotting the warning signs of poor mental health to putting reasonable adjustments in place, it’s there to help your managers feel more confident addressing mental wellbeing concerns.

Stress Counselling helpline

Give your people a space to reach out for support when they’re stressed. Available 24/7, the Stress Counselling helpline connects your people to trained counsellors to help them work through any personal or work-related stress when they need it.

Your employees call a dedicated number for a confidential chat about anything that’s on their minds, whether it’s related to work or their personal life.
