You need to keep accurate records of how you've met your legal duties. Here's what you need to cover:

  • The names and addresses of everyone enrolled
  • Records of when money was paid into your scheme
  • Requests to join or leave
  • Your pension scheme reference number.

You have to record this information and keep these records for six years by law. But you only need to keep requests to leave the scheme for four years.
