Grief Encounter
Support your employees’ families as they navigate grief through Grief Encounter, a childhood bereavement charity supporting children, young people and their families after the death of a parent or sibling. Grief Encounter offers a wide range of services to help children and their families through grief, including:
- 1:1 therapy sessions with qualified bereavement specialists, including talking, art, play, music and drama therapy
- Residential weekends, group, and remembrance workshops (when appropriate)
- Online grief support resources, useful guides, and practical tools, created by grief professionals
- Grief Relief Kits, containing age-appropriate resources, including storybooks, a journal, and workbooks
- In-school support for children and young people
- A free, nationwide telephone service with support from our Bereavement Support team
- Family fun days
